Based on our extensive experience in transport and infrastructure sector, Erebus continues to support DTP in an advisory role, on a range of ongoing projects related to the Metro Tunnel Project (MTP), which is due to open in 2025.

Wayfinding
The MTP will add 5 new stations to the network, relieving pressure on the Melbourne’s underground City Loop and substantially increasing capacity on the Sunbury, Cranbourne and Packenham Line.
Erebus Director Finn Butler continues a longstanding relationship with the Department of Planning (DTP) and the Metro Tunnel Project (MTP) in providing guidance and planning advice, for the temporary wayfinding measures to support the customer experience during the introduction of the MTP onto the broader transport network.
Working alongside agencies such as the Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority (VIDA) Finn is assisting DTP to anticipate changes to customer behavior on the full extent of the Sunbury, Cranbourne and Packenham Line, including the five new MTP stations - Arden, Parkville, State Library, Town Hall and ANZAC.
The introduction of the MTP will mark the start of the network's transformation from ‘hub and spoke' to an interchange network.
